Today at Nature Club 25/3/11

Today at Nature Club we changed the stick insects bramble, discussed stick insect reproduction and checked on the other animals.

Stick Insects

Firstly we noticed that all of the bramble had withered because there was no water left. Now that we have more bramble the water is used up much more quickly. To solve this problem what we will do is change the bramble on Fridays and Mondays and on Tuesdays refill the water by using a funnel and tube. Most of the stick insects are now fully grown and therefore it will not be long before they start to reproduce. Today we discussed how they do this, for more information go to http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_stick_insects_reproduce.

Animal Update

The animals are all fine and today we sprayed Grumpy’s moss.

Additional Information- Today we reached 1000 views on this blog which is very impressive.

Today’s Attendance was 9
